Tan Boon Liat: The builder of the main temple, Tan Boon Liat (Chen Wen Lie), was a prominent local merchant and philanthropist who donated a substantial sum for this building. He was not only the supervisor for the project, but also the treasurer.
Venerable Zhuan Feng (1879-1952). He originated from Nan-An County in Fujian,and was the Abbot of a number of temples in Xiamen. He was known to be an anti-Japanese activist in Indo-China, India and Ceylon during the war years. He was appointed the Abbot of Leong San Buddhist Temple in 1950 and he passed away in June 1952.
Venerable Rui Deng (1934) In the early days, Venerable Rui Deng was the Abbot of Nan Pu Monastery in Xiamen, China. Together with his teacher Zhuan Wu, he came to Nanyang to assist in the revival of Leong San Buddhist Temple where he made great contributions to the temple.
Venerable Sek Kong Hiap (1901-1994) Venerable Sek Kong Hiap was also bomin Nan-An County. During the early years of the Sino-Japanese war, he sailed to Singapore and stayed with his teacher at Leong San Buddhist Temple. In June 1952,with the passing away of Venerable Zhuan Feng, he was appointed the new abbot.
陈文烈:主庙的建造者陈文烈(陈文烈)是当地一位著名的商人和慈善家,他为这座建筑捐赠了大量资金。 他不仅是该项目的主管,也是财务主管。

广洽法师(1901-1994) 广洽法师也是南安县普民人。 中日战争初期,他乘船来到新加坡,并在龙山寺与老师住在一起。 1952年6月,转峰法师圆寂,受命为新住持。
